Hasan Onur Şimşek

He completed his master's degree at Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2005.
He completed his doctoral education at the Department of Oral, Dental, and
Maxillofacial Diseases and Surgery of Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of
Dentistry between 2006 and 2010. He completed his military service at Malatya
Military Hospital between 2010 and 2011. After his appointment as Assistant Professor
at Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Dentistry in 2013, he earned the title of
Associate Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2021.

Şimşek, who served as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry from 2017 to 2019 and as
Chief Physician of the Dental Practice and Research Center from 2020 to 2023,
has held administrative positions such as Commission and Committee Chairmanships,
Health Tourism Unit Responsibility, Quality Coordination, and Department Chairmanship during this period.

He continues to serve as a Quality Evaluator in Health Quality Standards at
the Ministry of Health and as a Health Quality Inspector at the
Turkish Health Services Quality and Accreditation Institute.
He is a member of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AÇBİD),
Turkish Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Association (TAOMS),
International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS),
European Association for Cranio Maxillofacial Surgery (EACMFS), and International Team for Implantology (ITI).

He served as a supervisory board member of AÇBİD from 2019 to
2023 and was elected as a board member at the June 2023 General Assembly Meeting.

As of September 2023, he continues to work as an Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery specialist at Aydın Optimum Oral and Dental Health Center.
